The slogan "We will never forget" is a little ambitious for our 30 second commercial society. To be honest, do you know what day will always live in infamy, and and do you seriously think that anybody really remembers the Lusitania?  Even if you do know those references, I am willing to bet that the average American does not.

If we wanted it to be accurate the day should be called "The Day we will never know the truth about." I am not saying I believe the conspiracy theories. I am saying they do make a pretty good argument for their side. Also the first argument against the conspiracy theory is, "Do you seriously think the government knowingly killed or allowed 3,000 people to die?"

That is the easiest question to ever answer, and the answer is "Yes."

It is also argued that the sitting President during the attack of Pearl Harbor and the sinking of the Lusitania were not only knew about them, but actually wanted them to happen. The reason being is that both of those acts allowed us to enter both World Wars with public favor. We had to enter these wars, but the public did not want to. If you are going to enter into a multi-year every expensive, not only in cost but innocence lives, war, you need public opinion on your side.

Those two events caused the public to demand that we go to war.

The below statistics is why I think the government doesn't mind sacrificing a few thousand innocent citizens when they want to go to war.

Lusitania casualties 1,198. However 1,959 people were on board.

Pearl Harbor casualties 2,898. Mostly servicemen.

9/11 casualties 2,976.

These are the things that our government has done in the last century. Imagine all of the countries in the world. Many countries constantly kill their own countrymen, some still today. So, did our government kill innocence people to go to war against Afghanistan and then Iraq? Well I look at it one of two ways.

You do first have to realize that there were several minutes from the time that it was known the planes were hijacked to the time they hit those buildings. If you want to be conservative with it then it is from the moment they verged off of their scheduled flight path.

From the moment of being notified that the planes were hijacked to the final one hitting the buildings the military could of shot them down. We have the fastest jets in the world. Some of them can fly tens of thousands of miles per hour.  In a matter of minutes, probably 3, we can have a jet that can utterly destroy any other flying object any other country could possibly make. Taking out a commercial airliner would be nothing for it.

So, if Cheney was not part of the plot of 9/11, from the moment that Cheney knew about the planes being hijacked to the last one crashing he either decided that

a)  it would be better to let it happen to not only have public opinion to go to war, but to better insure a second term

b) well I don't know if there is a b

The simple question is why did they not shoot the planes down? Yes innocent lives would of been lost, but it would not of been the tragedy it was.

The best part of the whole scenario is that you can clear see planes hit the twin towers. There is no footage of the Pennsylvania wreck and the Pentagon footage doesn't really show a plane hitting it at all. The Pentagon isn't on public land anyway, so not that many people would see it hit anyway, but everyone saw the twin towers being hit. You cannot deny that. You can deny a crazy conspiracy on how the government was involved. You can also release an Official report stating that it was all a work of terrorist. If it is Official it is true. No one can deny it. If you do deny it then you must not believe in the truth. That mentality feels like the Church in the Dark Ages.

Never question The Authority.

And Bush could not of been involved. He was reading to a group of second graders. It was perfect. It allowed massive public demands for us to go to war. It fit all the criteria for the government to create a way to war.  A war we are still fighting. I think the most convincing argument is that the government has done this before. Twice in the last century alone. But I don't know. No one of us do. There is tons and tons of evidence to support the conspiracy theory, but until undeniable proof is public knowledge than we will ever really know. If there is a undeniable proof it is either locked up so tight or destroyed many years ago.

The worst part of it is, is if it is true, we do nothing about it. We should demand to know but we don't. Maybe some day somebody will or will lead a charge to free us from the tyranny of our new treacherous government like our forefathers did. But I would not hold my breathe. Some day we will know the truth. It might be the die after we die, as I don't believe there are blacked out documents in Heaven.
